The second logo that I chose to design was The Ithaca Frost Knights. The reason why I chose frost knights as our new mascot is because our rival is The Cortland Dragons and for most of the school year, Ithaca gets a lot of snow and is very cold.
For my Copyright and Art Direction Class, I was assigned to create two new logos for Ithaca College. After doing some research, I discovered that Ithaca was the home island of the greek hero Odysseus who was the main character in The Odyssey. I also knew that Ithaca was near a lake so I decided to make our logo a lake monster that looked similar to a sea serpent that would appear in greek mythology.
